Winter storm takes aim at U.S. South, batters West
(Reuters) - A winter storm packing heavy snow, sleet and freezing rain is on track to hit the U.S. South and Southeast on Friday, threatening to snarl traffic and cause widespread power outages this weekend, forecasters said.
